Late night

Tonight I had the pleasure of a preview of Kira's new shapes store. She has been working on it for 3 days and will open it tomorrow. I am very happy for her to finally have a place of her own to put her shapes up for sale. She deserves this for all of her hard work.

Then my new friend Dilbert asked me to dance for a while at the Blue Note with him. I was happy to get out and dance for a bit. I love dancing, even though it does distract me from working on things for the store...

Ho hum

Tonight I lounged in the comfy chair at Slackers and let the blood rush to my head. I guess I just needed to feel something - anything. The place was empty but for me. I went through my friends list and calling cards and cleaned it up - discarded a bunch. So many people I never talk to... So many people who don't even remember talking to me a week ago. SL can be so shallow sometimes...



I then decided to start being a little more productive with my evening and thought I would hang the new sign on the store. I don't know that I am 100% happy with it. I will leave it up and see if it grows on me or if I need to change it.



Just as I had finished hanging the sign, my friend Vox came online and invited me to visit with him for a while. I hadn't seen him for some time - turns out he was on vacation. He TP'd me to this lovely garden area. I found a swing and we swung there for an hour or so! I thought I would have gotten sick from the constant motion!



I am glad my evening ended better than it began.

The Piano

Tongiht I played piano for Hu. Neither of us had much better to do. It was good to just sit and catch up with him - we definitely don't talk enough.

Then Kira dropped by and we decided to all play piano together! We really rocked as a trio.

I really love my new piano....

A Day of new things

First thing I did today was finish creating the remaining colors of the Brighter Days dress series for the store. I was so happy to have that finished finaly! That has been, what? 3 weeks in the making?

Also today I implemented a bunch of new things on my parcel in Tamrannoch.

First I put up a new house that I am going to use for the store. Dante came over briefly and installed teleport buttons inside. I am very grateful for that since I didn't know where to start for teleport buttons. I took a photo of the two buildings next to each other. I hope to get a sign up on the store soon. I am still creating it.



A few days ago, I saw that my neighbor across the tracks had squirrels in her yard! Well, I just had to have squirrels too, so Dante and I went shopping for squirrels. He bought me a zoo and claimed it was for my birthday! Back at home, I put the squirrels out on the parcel: 1 around the porch of the house and 3 in the backyard. They make noise and toss acorns about - so adorable. The one in the front is Maxwell and the 3 in the back are Muzzy, Amanda and Monica. Once I had finished setting their boundaries so that they wouldn't run off into the neighbors' yards, onto the train tracks, or into the pond, I sat down and just watched the ones in the backyard play and drop acorns about. It was very calming.
