Working Day

Today Hu and I watched Kira take photos for her shapes.

As we were watching, I was working on my dresses. I got the chocolate one and the rouge one finished tonight!

Relieved and Overjoyed

I received my first letter from Dante today! I am amazed at how quickly the post moves in this modern age. Imagine, getting a letter today when he only left for his expedition on Tuesday afternoon! I am delighted beyond anything to know that he arrived to his destination safely and I look forward to hearing about his adventures as more letters arrive.

Moving right along

Today, I had the pleasure of seeing Hu's finished project - larger than life itself!

Kira had just rented another location to sell her shapes in, so I joined her there so we could work together. Miss Jasmyn Tammas joined us and broke our silence into a lively conversation! She is quite delightful and I hope to get to know her better. Kira helped her work on her personal shape a bit and she advised us both in aesthetics of our work. I was appreciative to have an additional opinion on it all. I am sure that by tomorrow Kira will have the new store set up entirely. I can't wait to have mine up and running. I put the finishing touches on the purple, white, and black dresses tongiht, as well as completed the dress in dark red and pink. I started dark yellow, but the color was too green and was not an appealing color at all, so threw in the towel on that one. Back to the color board tomorrow!

Keeping busy - or at least trying to

I woke up alone in Dante's skybox today. It is amazing how a place can feel so empty. I breathed a heavy sigh, but could not pull myself away from it.

Kira, in her infinte kindness, insisted I come to see her and Hu at the beach. She thought the fresh air might do me some good. I stared out to the sea for a good long while, but eventually came to my senses. The water was cold and my dress was quite soaked and I hadn't even noticed.

As Kira and Hu were working, I followed their example and dove into my work as well. My first task was to make the ball gown into a wedding gown. It took quite a lot of time, but it came out rather nicely.

Upon completing the dress, Kira and I had a bit of a dance. I couldn't tell if Hu was enjoying the show or if he was quite jealous that I was dancing with Kira instead of himself.

Eventually we travelled back to Hu and Kira's workspace to work in a more appropriate place. I was able to almost comepletely get the ball gown finished in black.

I think I will continue to keep my mind on my work and hopefully the days will pass more quickly.

Last Dance

I promised a better photo of the finished dress, so here we go:

I painstakingly put a lot of detail into the dress. I think it came out rather well, if I don't say so myself. I think it iis going to look really good in other colors as well.

So I went to visit Hu and Kira for a while to see what they were up to. I never know what either of them might be building or creating next!

I was then invited to meet Miss Mirrorcle Writer in person and promptly accepted the invitation. I found Miss Writer very friendly, pleasant and humble. I was very glad to make her aquaintance at last! I had heard som much of her from Mr. Writer.

I was suddenly blessed by a call from Dante, whom I didn't expect at all (though I had hoped it). He's leaving tomorrow for his expedition and I was so pleased that he took a break from his packing to visit with me and say farewell. I joined him in his skybox with the opportunity to show him my newly finished dress.

We then headed to my store so I could show him my progress there. Unfortunately, we had some issues with movement around the property and I suggested we just go back to the skybox for a while.

He took me up into his arms and we danced. We talked and we danced.

I am sure the hours slipped away from me, but I was not conscious of it.

But at last the time came that we were forced to say farewell.

My head was spinning as he'd left me alone there in the room. I had no voice and felt quite weak. I don't know what to think anymore.

I can only say that I wish him a safe journey tomorrow. i can't say much for myself.

Finished!

My day started out happy - enough to keep my mind from wandering too far. I attended the first Caledon pet show and was quite impressed at the variety and behaviour of the animals of Caledon.

Amidst my entertainment at the pet show, I was called away. Hu and I ended up spending most of the day building and working.

I worked on my new dress with meticulous detail until it was done. As soon as it was done, I called Kira over to see it and she told me loved it and that I ought to make a white version and add a veil and sell it as a wedding gown. So back to work I went to make a matching veil. I was so happy an excited when I had all of the pieces finished, that I took off to show everyone I knew and completely forgot to photograph myself int he new dress!

I did get one photo of it from behind however...

Not the greatest, but I can take a better photo tomorrow.

I met up with Red to show him my dress and he had found this wonderful tavern with rats on the floor, sexy dances on the stage, massages, arm wrestling, and strip poker! Well, if this wasn't the place to discover, I don't know what was!

I often danced on the table for my victories over Red at arm wrestling, however I was starting to lose my shirt at strip poker, so I quit before I got too far behind - and Red had to go to bed anyway, so it worked out just fine. I just got more and more nervous after I lost a few hands. i will know better next time and I swear I shall practise as to make Red lose his shirt instead! I am not a gambler, but I refuse to lose my shirt over this.

I soon joined my friend Mr. Dreamingen Writer who was very pleased I made the trip out to view his gallery. I was also fortunate enough to see Miss Mirrorcle Writer's work. Both are fantastic artists and I hope to spend more time at the gallery to pour over their work in greater depth.

I in turn brought Mr. Writer to my store to show him my works as it were.

But the hour had grown much too late and I was forced to retire to my home to sleep the night away.

Another day down. Dante leaves for his expedition trip in 2 days. I know he is busy, but I am sad to think I may not get to say goodbye as I had wished.
