My friend Broderick Lane

Quite the character he is. He sent me some photos from his attendance at Miss Poppy's "Exotic Men of Caledon" event. He was really getting into the dance!

He's so adorable!

Meanwhile, I ran into Sir Tinlegs as I was leaving the house. I hadn't had a chance to really speak with him since my first ball in Caledon. He really gave me some good advice for getting to be part of community and I finally had the opportunity to thank him for it. We promised to be better in touch and added that we hoped to dance again at a future ball.

I then met Hu and Kira in Hanja where we chatted with a few people who were voice enabled.

Having had enough of that, we decided to go dancing. Kira and I ended up in a place that Hu could not get to. Not wanting to exclude any friend, we moved to a new location where we just stood around and talked some more. Hu and Kira did some silly gestures and entertained us a great deal until we had to go to bed.

A Lack of Gentlemen

Today I attended the Bookbinder's Ball in Caledon. Due to a lack of gentlemen, Miss Jasmyn Tammas and I danced together for most of the night. She really does dance well and I think a nice gentleman would be lucky to stand up with her in the future.

The ball was very nice. It felt good to get all dolled up again and go to a formal dance. I was pleased to wear my new dress to an actual Caledon ball.

I think Miss Tammas enjoyed herself too. I like her a lot and hope to be much better aquainted with her in the future.

Today we found our voices

Today, voice was enabled in Second Life. I finally got to talk to and hear many of my friends for the first time.

All we did tonight was stand about and talk.

Well, and encourage Kira in her skin-making business. She wants to learn to make skins very badly. She showed us her first skin ever. I think she's defiintely making some good progress in learning how the textures apply to the face.

Can't wait to see more!

Setting Up

I decided to go dancing at the Dogglounge today. I was having a grand time by myself. I really hadn't been out dancing alone in a long time.

Suddenly, lo, there was Red dancing behind me!

I had a good time chatting with him as we shuffled around the floor in the mist. He couldn't stay long, but wanted to say hello nonetheless. I was glad to see him. I always am.

As I had began work on the vendor cards for the Ribbons Ball Gown, I thought I would try seeing how they looked on the wall of the store. I created a series of vendor boxes and started replacing the cards with the ones for the Ribbons dress.

I think it will look very nice when it is finished. The cards themselves look nice, but really do not show the beauty and detail of the dress. That is the downside of making all the cards uniform. I am sure, though, that as people see the dresses being worn around, the word will spread on how fine of a dress it really is.

Photos Taken

With all the dresses finished, I spend today doing a photo session so I could begin making the vendor cards for the Ribbons Ball Gown.

I had not long been finished with the photos when Red asked me to join him. We ended up going to Jade's Jazz Lounge and dancing our socks off for a few hours.

I have to say that I really do enjoy spending time with Red. He makes me smile.

After dancing the night away with Red, I went home. I looked in on the rats and smiled, remembering when Dante surprised me with the cage for them. I couldn't help but think, "One down, five to go." Seems like forever since he left.

Yet Another Working Day

Today while I was working, Hu decided to freak me out and put on a mask and don a knife like he was going to murder me in my sleep.

I tried to ignore him and continue working. I was really close to finishing my dresses at that point. I worked for a long time and before I had realized how many hours had passed, Jasmyn invited me over to view the store she is so kindly building for me.

I think it is coming along really well and she says she is learning a lot from it, so that is good! I look forward to seeing the end result!
