Setting Up

I decided to go dancing at the Dogglounge today. I was having a grand time by myself. I really hadn't been out dancing alone in a long time.

Suddenly, lo, there was Red dancing behind me!

I had a good time chatting with him as we shuffled around the floor in the mist. He couldn't stay long, but wanted to say hello nonetheless. I was glad to see him. I always am.

As I had began work on the vendor cards for the Ribbons Ball Gown, I thought I would try seeing how they looked on the wall of the store. I created a series of vendor boxes and started replacing the cards with the ones for the Ribbons dress.

I think it will look very nice when it is finished. The cards themselves look nice, but really do not show the beauty and detail of the dress. That is the downside of making all the cards uniform. I am sure, though, that as people see the dresses being worn around, the word will spread on how fine of a dress it really is.

Photos Taken

With all the dresses finished, I spend today doing a photo session so I could begin making the vendor cards for the Ribbons Ball Gown.

I had not long been finished with the photos when Red asked me to join him. We ended up going to Jade's Jazz Lounge and dancing our socks off for a few hours.

I have to say that I really do enjoy spending time with Red. He makes me smile.

After dancing the night away with Red, I went home. I looked in on the rats and smiled, remembering when Dante surprised me with the cage for them. I couldn't help but think, "One down, five to go." Seems like forever since he left.

Yet Another Working Day

Today while I was working, Hu decided to freak me out and put on a mask and don a knife like he was going to murder me in my sleep.

I tried to ignore him and continue working. I was really close to finishing my dresses at that point. I worked for a long time and before I had realized how many hours had passed, Jasmyn invited me over to view the store she is so kindly building for me.

I think it is coming along really well and she says she is learning a lot from it, so that is good! I look forward to seeing the end result!

Working Day

Today Hu and I watched Kira take photos for her shapes.

As we were watching, I was working on my dresses. I got the chocolate one and the rouge one finished tonight!

Relieved and Overjoyed

I received my first letter from Dante today! I am amazed at how quickly the post moves in this modern age. Imagine, getting a letter today when he only left for his expedition on Tuesday afternoon! I am delighted beyond anything to know that he arrived to his destination safely and I look forward to hearing about his adventures as more letters arrive.

Moving right along

Today, I had the pleasure of seeing Hu's finished project - larger than life itself!

Kira had just rented another location to sell her shapes in, so I joined her there so we could work together. Miss Jasmyn Tammas joined us and broke our silence into a lively conversation! She is quite delightful and I hope to get to know her better. Kira helped her work on her personal shape a bit and she advised us both in aesthetics of our work. I was appreciative to have an additional opinion on it all. I am sure that by tomorrow Kira will have the new store set up entirely. I can't wait to have mine up and running. I put the finishing touches on the purple, white, and black dresses tongiht, as well as completed the dress in dark red and pink. I started dark yellow, but the color was too green and was not an appealing color at all, so threw in the towel on that one. Back to the color board tomorrow!

Keeping busy - or at least trying to

I woke up alone in Dante's skybox today. It is amazing how a place can feel so empty. I breathed a heavy sigh, but could not pull myself away from it.

Kira, in her infinte kindness, insisted I come to see her and Hu at the beach. She thought the fresh air might do me some good. I stared out to the sea for a good long while, but eventually came to my senses. The water was cold and my dress was quite soaked and I hadn't even noticed.

As Kira and Hu were working, I followed their example and dove into my work as well. My first task was to make the ball gown into a wedding gown. It took quite a lot of time, but it came out rather nicely.

Upon completing the dress, Kira and I had a bit of a dance. I couldn't tell if Hu was enjoying the show or if he was quite jealous that I was dancing with Kira instead of himself.

Eventually we travelled back to Hu and Kira's workspace to work in a more appropriate place. I was able to almost comepletely get the ball gown finished in black.

I think I will continue to keep my mind on my work and hopefully the days will pass more quickly.
